§ 2-48. Committees and boards.

(a)

The council or the mayor, as appropriate, may establish and appoint members for such temporary and standing committees and boards as are needed to help carry on the work of town government, and specific provisions of law relating to particular committees and boards shall be followed.

(b)

The requirements of the open meetings law shall apply to all committees and boards that either are established by the council, or are comprised of councilmembers.
