§ 42-8. Signs installed or placed on public property and rights-of-way and town-maintained easements.

  • Any sign installed or placed on public property or within a public right-of-way or town-maintained easement, except in conformance with the requirements of this chapter, shall be forfeited to the public and is subject to confiscation by the town. In addition to other remedies under this chapter, the code enforcement officer shall have the right to recover the full costs of removal and disposal of such signs from the owner or person placing such signs.
