§ 62-97. Soliciting fares and persons for transportation.

  • Whenever any taxicab is being operated upon such streets of the town, the driver shall not leave his taxicab for the purpose of soliciting passengers and fares a distance greater than ten feet from such taxicab except upon request to assist in the handling of baggage by a passenger or prospective passenger.
