§ 14-159. Fire hydrant/fire department connections.

Unobstructed access to fire hydrants and fire department connections shall be maintained at all times. The fire department shall not be deterred or hindered from gaining immediate access to the fire protection equipment or fire hydrant. A three-foot clear space shall be maintained around the circumference of fire hydrants as otherwise approved. Failure to comply with this section shall be punishable by a civil penalty.
